The Hunter Valley - 22nd December

After a long drive the day before we enjoyed a leisurely morning and our first campervan breakfast before heading out to the Hunter Valley.

If you're not doing a wine tour or planning an expensive winery lunch there's not, as we discovered, a great deal to do. We enjoyed having a drive around and looking at the views of the different wineries. We also stopped for our daily latte and flat white.

Then we discovered the Hunter Valley Cheese Company offered a free tour and tasting at 3pm and as cheese was something you could eat and drive we decided to take a look. We decided to treat ourselves to the Hunter Gold Washed Rind for $24........then after an expensive day of buying cheese in the winelands we headed first to the supermarket and then back to the campsite.

We'd hunted high and low for Yahtzee in Melbourne and hadn't found it but finally Andy tracked it down and so after Andy's run the Yahtzee Challenge commenced. The final score that night was Emma 3 : Andy 2.
