The night before

These are the bags that we finally managed to pack at around 5pm on Monday afternoon... without the wash kits. You should see the size of Emma's, it is touch and go whether it will fit in or not. I will send a picture once I purchase a wide angled lens to fit it in. We had aimed to pack light with bags only at worst 2/3s packed.... so much for plans!

Wheelie holdall = fair weather travellers

We have had a great last couple of days with friends and family and it has been a welcome distraction from the need to pack and prepare the house for our departure, Whilst we are sad to be leaving we are looking forward to getting away and spending some quality time together.

The day has actually flown by with last minute updates to the netbook, sending off of valuables from the house, cancelling sky, the aforementioned packing and speaking to friends and family on the phone.... I think I have heard Emma say to at least 3 people that she would like them to keep her informed of X factor and Strictly results – talk about priorities!

The only other point of note was my “wash and go” haircut that I am sure you will see in later updates.

Updates:
1) We slept surprising well for a night before needing to go to the airport.

2) The haircut definitely meets the the “wash and go” criteria.
